Me and Aquazzura shoes

The owners of a rather unusual and extravagant brand label in the form of pineapple – Aquazzura – are sweeping the contemporary world with their shoe designs.

COMFORT AND WEAR

Are Aquazzura shoes comfortable?

Please, keep in mind that if you do not wear heels on a daily basis and then decide to jump into a marvelous "Sexy Thing" for a girls night out, you might want to get a backup of a flat "softies" to rescue your feet on a half way through the night.

If you wear the heels on more or less daily basis then the Aquazzura shoes will seem rather comfortable option for you, especially compared to Christian Louboutin.

SIZING

How to match Aquazzura shoe size?

Aquazzura shoes run true to size in most of the models. The brand is characterized by an extra soft and delicate suede material. Models like "Rainbow 105", "Pasadena 105", "Eddie 105", "Colorado 85" will hug your feet like a softest teddy bear. In turn, the suede sandals would fit true to size even in most cases for people with wider feet.

Suede shoes with closed toe, like "Belgravia 105", "Allure 105", "Tango Pump 105", "Forever Marilyn 105" would also give in much more room in time, so you could go for your normal size. For wider feet, it is recommended to go for half a size up to accommodate your toes.

Like with Christian Louboutin, in leather pointed toe models, like "Byzantine Pump 105", "Fontana 105", "Hello Lover", "Fontana Bridal 105" you should opt for a half size up.

The closed toe box in the flat shoe models, like "Christy Flat", "Holli Flat", "Alexa Flat", "Byzantine Flat" is also a sign to go half a size up.

And for a wider feet you might even consider the whole size up. Remember that the pressure distributed on your foot is higher when you stand flat: your toes are "straighter" and less cringed than when you stand on heels. This might cause the feeling of the shoe pinching your toes after an hour of walking – so half a size up should prevent you from this discomfort.

As for the booties, select them true to your normal size, like with models "Baroque Bootie 50", "Fauna Bootie 105", "Ulyana Bootie 105", "Victoria Bootie 85". In case you plan to wear then with thicker sock, like wool or cashmere – you might consider going half a size up.

With tall boots, like "Ulyana Boot 105", "Imperial Boot 105", "Whip-It Boot 85", "Thigh High 105", you should follow the same rules of thumb as with booties – consider going half a size up, as during the cooler weather you are more likely to wear a thicker stockings or socks.

All in all, if you are looking for a comfort in your Aquazzura shoes – go for suede models, especially that you are offered such a luxury material.

HOW TO CARE

How to care about Aquazzura shoes?

As mentioned above, Aquazzura has a butter like suede, very soft and very gentle. Thus it requires a special care to make the shoes last long:

  1. Before the first wear spray generously with a water resistant (waterproof, general purpose protector) and let it dry as instructed. You want to be especially diligent with the lighter color suede materials.
  2. Use a special suede brush to dust off any dirt after each wear.
  3. Keep your shoes in their dust bags – each shoe in a separate bag. Do not allow then to rub against each other.
  4. Repair your heels a.s.a.p. they get worn down at a cobbler.
